The extension runs locally inside your own signed-in Instagram tab in Chrome, so it never asks for a password and has no separate login. You paste a list of handles and a message template, press start, and it types each DM in your session at the pace you chose. Closing the tab stops it.
Risk comes from volume and robotic timing, not from the tool category. Seed IG DM Sender randomizes the delay between messages and stops at a daily cap you set, with no override. Server-side bulk senders that log into Instagram from their own infrastructure are the pattern most often flagged; this runs in your browser instead.
You give it a list of handles and one message. It opens each creator's thread in your logged-in Instagram tab, types the DM into the real message box, waits a random gap, and moves to the next one. Setup is five steps: install the extension, log into instagram.com, add your list, write one message with merge tags, and press Start. You can pause or stop at any time.
The sender stops at 50 DMs a day per account, and that cap cannot be overridden. Instagram does not publish an official limit. About 50 a day is the ceiling we see for an established account, and a new account should stay at 20 or fewer. Gaps between sends are random, between 45 and 120 seconds, and it stops if Instagram shows a warning.
