These terms cover your use of Seed (“the App”), a Shopify app that helps merchants gift free product to creators. By installing the App you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email sam@seedinfluencers.com.
What the App does
Seed lets you share a branded link with a creator. The creator picks a product and variant and enters their shipping address. The App then creates a real draft order in your Shopify admin at $0, using your store’s product catalog. You review and approve orders the same way you would any other order in Shopify.
Your account
You install the App through the Shopify App Store using your Shopify store. You are responsible for the accuracy of the product and shipping information you configure, and for reviewing draft orders before fulfilling them.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify’s billing system, in line with the plan and price shown at checkout inside the App. Shopify handles the charge to your store’s billing method. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the App or from your Shopify admin.
Your data
Order and product data created by the App lives in your Shopify store, since draft orders are real Shopify records. We store the minimum data needed to operate the App, described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App for anything illegal, to abuse the gifting flow to create fraudulent orders, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the App.
Uptime and support
We aim to keep the App available and respond to support requests promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Seed is built and supported directly by its founders.
Ending the relationship
You can uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin. We can suspend or end access to the App if these terms are violated, if required by Shopify, or if we stop operating the App. We will give notice where reasonably possible.
Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the App changes. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
